AZTCO Vault Terms of Service
Last updated: July 4, 2026
These Terms of Service govern use of the AZTCO Vault online portal, installer downloads, backup server software, backup agents, licensing, billing, reporting, notifications, audit functions, and related services.
1. Service Overview
AZTCO Vault provides an online portal for managing client accounts, product bundles, licenses, invoices, installers, backup server registrations, backup reports, SMTP and CAPTCHA settings, Stripe or transfer payment configuration, email templates, legal documents, audit logs, blocked IPs, and platform security controls.
The client-side software is installed on customer infrastructure to configure backup settings, integrate supported workloads, generate setup scripts where applicable, perform backup operations, and report backup status to the online portal.
2. Accounts and Roles
The platform supports global administrator accounts and client backup administrator accounts. Global administrators manage the platform, products, bundles, license pricing, billing settings, legal content, installers, clients, audit data, and security controls. Backup administrators manage and view their own client licenses, invoices, servers, keys, and backup status.
Users must provide accurate account information and keep administrator email addresses secure and current. Email MFA and password reset emails are part of the authentication process.
3. Client Registration
Clients may register through the portal after selecting a product or bundle and completing the configured payment or approval flow. After registration, AZTCO Vault creates the client account, backup administrator account, license, invoice, and welcome/setup email. No public registration account is active until the configured payment or approval requirement is satisfied.
4. Products, Bundles, Licenses, and Expiry
Global administrators define products and bundles. A bundle may include multiple supported products such as Microsoft 365, Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, server seats, or other supported workloads. Products and bundles may have a price, currency, duration, trial setting, or free setting.
Licenses are assigned to clients based on a selected product or bundle. License duration and expiry control whether backup server communication and software functions are allowed. If a license expires, is suspended, or is inactive, AZTCO Vault may stop backup jobs, block server communication, and disable related software functions until the license is renewed or reactivated.
5. Billing and Payment
Invoices are generated using platform product, bundle, company, and client data. Payment methods may include Stripe checkout or bank transfer when configured by a global administrator. Transfer payments may require a transfer reference number or other proof requested by AZTCO.
Fees, taxes, renewal terms, and payment responsibilities are based on the active product or bundle configuration and any written agreement with AZTCO.
6. Installer and Agent Use
Installers, backup servers, and agents are provided for authorized client environments only. Customers may not modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, bypass license checks, or use server keys outside their assigned client environment unless expressly authorized by AZTCO.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for maintaining their own infrastructure, credentials, backup repositories, storage locations, SMTP settings where applicable, network access, Office 365 integrations, Hyper-V integrations, Nutanix AHV integrations, and any cloud or local storage accounts used for backups.
Customers must ensure they have legal rights to back up, process, store, transmit, and restore all data handled by AZTCO Vault.
8. Security
Users must not attack, scan, overload, bypass authentication, bypass licensing, abuse APIs, share credentials, tamper with server keys, or attempt unauthorized access. AZTCO Vault may record audit and security events, block IP addresses, reject suspicious requests, and suspend access to protect the platform.
9. Availability and Backups
AZTCO Vault is designed to manage and report backup operations, but customers remain responsible for validating backup configuration, storage availability, restore testing, retention requirements, and disaster recovery procedures. No backup product should be considered successful until the customer has verified restore capability.
10. Email Notifications
The platform may send login codes, password reset codes, welcome/setup emails, backup reports, license notices, expiry warnings, expired license alerts, and billing or operational messages. Customers are responsible for keeping receiving mailboxes available and monitored.
11. Acceptable Use
The service must be used only for lawful business backup and management purposes. Prohibited uses include illegal data processing, unauthorized access, malware distribution, abusive scanning, infringement, fraud, or activity that disrupts AZTCO, customers, service providers, or third parties.
12. Suspension or Termination
AZTCO may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, expired licenses, security risk, abuse, legal requirement, or violation of these Terms. Suspension may stop backup software functions and portal access until the issue is resolved.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AZTCO is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, loss of business, failed backups, failed restores, service interruption, third-party service failures, customer misconfiguration, or expired licenses.
14. No Warranty
AZTCO Vault is provided according to the applicable agreement and configured deployment. Except where expressly stated in writing, the service is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free behavior, or fitness for a particular legal, regulatory, or technical outcome.
15. Changes
AZTCO may update these Terms as the platform evolves. The active Terms content is controlled in the AZTCO Vault portal by global administrators.
